The Central Bank of Myanmar (“CBM”) has issued Notification No. 37/2024. In this announcement, the Central Bank revises the regulations outlined in Notification No. 26/2023, where 35% of export earnings were required for exchange into Myanmar kyats, to 25%, effective immediately from 8.8.2024.
