Donation by FocusCore to Support MRCS Rescue Operations for Flood-affected Communities

Typhoon "Ragi," which struck Myanmar between September 8 and 12, brought heavy rainfall and strong winds, causing widespread flooding across Naypyidaw and 11 other states and regions. This natural disaster has displaced thousands of families, destroyed homes, and disrupted transportation, leaving many communities in urgent need of relief.

In response to this crisis, FocusCore, alongside our sister companies MyWorld Careers and Myanmar Payroll & Outsourcing, has made a donation of 10,000,000 Kyats to the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS). This donation has supported MRCS's relief efforts by providing essential food supplies, including rice, sunflower oil, salt, canned fish, and chickpeas, as well as personal hygiene items. Additionally, a vital boat with an outboard motor was procured to facilitate the transportation of these supplies to the most severely impacted regions.

Our focus is on helping communities in Naypyidaw, Kayin, Mon, Mandalay, Eastern Shan, Northern Shan, Southern Shan, Kayah, and Bago, particularly in hard-hit townships such as Hpa-An, Mawlamyine, Mandalay, and Lashio. Over 6,500 households have been evacuated to temporary shelters, and our efforts aim to alleviate their hardships by ensuring the timely and effective delivery of essential items.

At FocusCore, we stand in solidarity with the people of Myanmar, committed to bringing hope and relief to those in need. Together with the Myanmar Red Cross Society and our affiliated companies, we believe we can help rebuild lives, restore stability, and bring back happiness to those affected by this disaster.

Together, we can overcome these challenges.
